Big Bend After Reentry Coalition (BBARC)

"The Big Bend A.F.T.E.R. Reentry Coalition is a coalition of individuals and groups united to increase public safety + reduce recidivism through collaborating and establishing community partnerships, identifying and providing services to inmates and formerly incarcerated people, empowering them to become productive, self-sufficient members of the community." BBARC was established in 2012.

BBARC's work mainly focused on three areas:

  1. Coordinating services
  2. Educating the community
  3. Collaborating with the Florida business community 

The BBARC meets monthly and also holds regular community forums and educational outreach events. More information can be found at:
