Big Bend After Reentry Coalition (BBARC)

"The Big Bend A.F.T.E.R. Reentry Coalition is a coalition of individuals and groups united to increase public safety + reduce recidivism through collaborating and establishing community partnerships, identifying and providing services to inmates and formerly incarcerated people, empowering them to become productive, self-sufficient members of the community." BBARC was established in 2012.
BBARC's work mainly focused on three areas:
- Coordinating services
- Educating the community
- Collaborating with the Florida business community
The BBARC meets monthly and also holds regular community forums and educational outreach events. More information can be found at: facebook.com/BigBendReentry
